HUTTO, Texas — The City of Hutto announced today that it has entered into a management agreement with Ryan Sanders Sports & Entertainment to provide live programming in the Amphitheater at Hutto Park at Brushy Creek

Ryan Sanders Baseball is the parent company of Ryan Sanders Sports & Entertainment, which includes the RS3 Events & Entertainment division as well as the Round Rock Express, Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros. The organization has been providing live entertainment in Central Texas for the past 20 years at Dell Diamond. Ryan Sanders Baseball’s primary ownership group is comprised of Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan and his two sons, Reid and Reese, along with Houston financier Don Sanders and his two sons, Bret and Brad. Reid Ryan currently serves as the President of Business Operations for the Houston Astros while Reese Ryan is the CEO of Ryan Sanders Baseball.

RS3 Events & Entertainment has hosted some of the largest names in the music industry such as Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Zac Brown Band, John Mellencamp, Chris Tomlin and Snoop Dogg. The company has also brought in a vast array of entertainment including bull riding and monster truck competitions.

“Up until now, Dell Diamond has served as the primary home venue for RS3 Events & Entertainment, but this partnership provides a venue designed specifically for music and entertainment that is the only one of its kind in Northeast Central Texas,” Ryan Sanders Baseball Chief Operating Office JJ Gottsch said.
To fulfill the Hutto City Council’s vision of a family-friendly community with exceptional quality of life, the City purchased the 65-acre Hutto Park at Brushy Creek in 2018, which served as the home of KOKEFEST and the City’s first-ever Fourth of July Celebration.

The construction of the $3.4 million, 10,000-capacity lawn-style seating amphitheater is scheduled to be completed in 2019. The venue will have eight RV hookups and parking spaces as well as VIP parking, with additional room for 1,000 cars within the park. Modeled after the MAD Amphitheater in El Dorado, Arkansas, the Amphitheater at Hutto Park at Brushy Creek will serve as a unique venue and ideal location for concerts and festival events in the region.

“We are grateful to have such an experienced entertainment company just down the road. We believe the family of Ryan Sanders businesses, specializing in entertainment, food and beverage, turf management, baseball and more, will provide even greater strength for our future success, and we look forward to a long and strong partnership," Hutto Mayor Doug Gaul said.
RS3 Events & Entertainment has agreed to organize, promote and conduct at least 20 events per fiscal year, providing all duties from booking talent to creating event experiences for concert and festival goers.

"We are thrilled to partner with Ryan Sanders Sports & Entertainment," Hutto City Manager Odis Jones said. "Our staff is working hard to create a park that will improve quality of life in Hutto and a means to drive revenues for future park operations and improvements.”
Nestled amid beautiful cliffs along Brushy Creek and among trees and flowing water off CR 137, the Amphitheater at Hutto Park at Brushy Creek is the venue to watch for future concerts and festivals.
